General Terms and Conditions of Use
1. Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") govern access to and use of the Immersio platform, accessible at app-immersio.altechnologies.fr and studio.altechnologies.fr, published by AL Technologies (hereinafter "the Publisher").
Any use of the service constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms. Registration for the service constitutes express acceptance.
2. Service Description
Immersio is a training platform using serious games: AI-assisted authoring of interactive educational scenarios, delivery to learners, progress tracking and training documents. The service is offered under two models:
- Organization workspace: a subscription allowing a training organization, trainer or company to create its scenarios, deliver them to its learners and track their progress. Learners access the service through the account provided by their organization.
- Professional Licenses (B2B): integration of scenarios into third-party learning systems via SCORM/xAPI or iframe embed.
3. User Account
Account creation requires a valid email address. The user undertakes to provide accurate information and maintain confidentiality of their credentials. Any access to the account using these credentials is deemed to be undertaken by the account holder.
The user may delete their account at any time from their personal space or by writing to privacy@altechnologies.fr.
4. User Obligations
The user undertakes to:
- comply with applicable laws and regulations;
- not attempt to access unauthorized features (admin areas, unsubscribed scenarios, etc.);
- not extract, copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit educational content without written authorization;
- not use the service for spam, phishing, or any malicious activity;
- not attempt to circumvent technical protection measures (DRM, license signing, etc.).
5. Intellectual Property
5.1 Platform. The platform — software, game engine and scenario player, AI authoring engine, AI debriefing, templates, scenario format, trademarks — as well as the catalog scenarios published by AL Technologies are the exclusive property of AL Technologies. A subscription or license grants a non-exclusive and non-transferable right of use, within the limits of the plan purchased.
5.2 Scenarios created by the organization. Scenarios created by an organization using the studio (texts, characters, choices, visuals generated for it) belong to that organization, subject to third-party rights and the terms of the AI providers used. The organization grants AL Technologies a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce and display these scenarios for the sole purpose of providing the service; this license ends when the content or account is deleted.
5.3 Export. SCORM/xAPI export and embed integration include the AL Technologies player, which remains its property. Its use outside the platform is subject to a license of use, included in the plans that provide for it; it transfers no rights in the technology.
6. Availability and Maintenance
The Publisher endeavors to ensure service availability 24/7, without however committing to a contractual availability rate absent express stipulation. Interruptions for maintenance may occur and will be announced by email for planned operations.
7. Liability
The service is provided "as is". The Publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages (loss of opportunity, business loss, etc.) resulting from use or inability to use the service. The Publisher's total liability, regardless of cause, is limited to the amount actually paid by the user over the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to liability.
8. Suspension and Termination
The Publisher may suspend or terminate a user's access in case of material breach of these Terms, following written notice remaining unanswered for 7 days. No refund will be due in case of termination for cause.
The organization may cancel its subscription at any time from its workspace; end-of-access terms are set out in the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
9. Personal Data
Processing of personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
10. Modification of Terms
The Publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms. Any material modification will be notified to the user by email at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the service after this date constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law. In the absence of amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the district where AL Technologies' registered office is located, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
12. Mediation
In accordance with articles L.611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, a consumer user may, in case of unresolved dispute, resort free of charge to a consumer mediator. Mediator contact information provided upon request to privacy@altechnologies.fr.
