How Immersio helps you reduce your training costs

The price of a course is only part of its cost. Add travel, time away from work and, when you want tailored content, custom production. This guide details where Immersio can save you money, where it cannot, and how to run the numbers with your own figures rather than with promises.

In short

Immersio mainly reduces the cost of producing content: instead of commissioning a custom serious game, you produce your scenarios with Immersio's generation engine (one credit per scene, visual included). The practice part is played online, with no room or travel. The platform cost is simple to calculate: active accounts × €14.90 × number of months (Starter plan).

Key points

  • The main savings come from producing content in-house instead of outsourcing it.
  • The platform cost is proportional to the number of active accounts: it follows your activity.
  • Learners' time does not disappear; it is better used.
  • Run the numbers with your own assumptions: we provide the method, not a savings percentage.

What are the real costs of a training course?

To compare two options honestly, you need to look at every cost item, not just the provider's quote:

  • Design: the time spent creating or adapting the content, in-house or by a provider.
  • Delivery: trainer days, internal or external.
  • Logistics: room, travel, accommodation, meals.
  • Time away from work: the hours during which participants are not producing.
  • Follow-up: administration (invitations, attendance sheets, certificates) and measuring results.

How much does it cost to produce a serious game?

This is where the difference is clearest. Commissioning a custom serious game from a specialised studio usually means several months of production and a budget in the tens of thousands of euros, for content that is then expensive to update.

With Immersio's scenario generation engine, you do the producing. Each generated scene uses one credit, visual included: a 10-scene scenario costs 10 credits. The Starter plan includes 10 credits per seat per month (minimum 50). If you use more, packs are available: 50 credits for €199 excl. VAT, 150 for €499 excl. VAT, 500 for €1,490 excl. VAT.

The real production cost is the review time by someone who knows the job. It is much lower than for a custom project, but it is not zero: plan for it.

How do you reduce logistics and time away from work?

A scenario is played online, on computer or mobile, whenever the learner chooses. For the practice part of a course, there is therefore no room, no travel and no day blocked out.

That doesn't mean you should drop classroom sessions. But when participants arrive having already practised, classroom time can go to what really needs it: discussion, difficult cases, group practice.

How do you lighten training administration?

Tracking documents (certificates, reports, signed attendance sheets, training agreements) are generated from the workspace, and the 90-day follow-up evaluation is included. The dashboard replaces tracking spreadsheets. These tasks don't disappear, but they take less time.

How do you calculate your training cost with Immersio?

The platform cost is simple to calculate: number of active accounts × €14.90 × number of months, on the Starter plan (up to 100 accounts). An active account is billed whether or not it logs in: deactivate the accounts you no longer need.

Example, to replace with your own assumptions: you train 30 employees for 3 months. The platform cost comes to 30 × €14.90 × 3 = €1,341. The credits included over the period (30 × 10 × 3 = 900 credits) cover the generation of several dozen 10-scene scenarios, more than enough to build a complete learning path.

Compare this amount with what you spend today for the same objectives: trainer days, travel, time away from work, content production. That comparison, made with your own figures, is what will tell you whether the savings are real in your case.

What Immersio does not reduce

  • Learning time: a learner who practises spends time doing so, and that is the point.
  • The need for expertise: you always need someone who knows the job to validate the scenarios.
  • Courses that require physical practice or a certification delivered in person.
  • Immersio is designed for the French market: scenarios are currently generated in French, and the prices and legal references in this guide apply to France. The platform interface itself is available in English.

Frequently asked questions

Are there set-up fees?

Not on the Starter plan: you create your account and pay per active seat. The Small Business and Enterprise plans, quoted on request, can include onboarding support.

What happens if a generation fails?

Nothing is charged. Credits are only deducted when a generation succeeds, and the cost is shown before you start it.

Do monthly included credits roll over?

No, included credits are renewed each month. Credits bought in packs are valid for 12 months.

How do I avoid paying for unused accounts?

A seat is an active account in your workspace. Remove or deactivate the accounts of people who have finished their course: they are no longer billed the following month.

Price your case with a real scenario

Create an account, generate a scenario on one of your topics and measure the review time it needs. That is the figure missing from most calculations.
